Cases — March 13th through 19th

admin - March 16, 2016 - Discrimination, Procedure, Retaliation, Tenth Circuit, Workers Compensation
Discrimination/Retaliation
*Poll v. Lew (10th Cir., March 15, 2016) (affirming dismissal, for lack of subject matter jurisdiction, of Poll’s claims for discriminatory retaliation in violation of Title VII, brought 30 years after his termination, and contrary to a settlement agreement and an injunction)
Workers Compensation/Occupational Safety and Disease
*Bradley v. Colvin (10th Cir., March 15, 2016) (affirming denial of social security benefits, because Bradley failed to raise his claims below, and his arguments focused on merely technical omissions)

*Cases marked with an asterisk are cases the 10th Circuit does not consider binding precedent except under the doctrines of law of the case, res judicata, or collateral estoppel.  They may be cited, however, for persuasive value under Fed.R.App.P. 32.1 and 10th Cir.R. 32.1
